  1. 设计题目:8A Unit4 Welcome to the unit

  2. 教材简解:

本单元的主题是“Do It Yourself,自己动手做,是一个古老又年轻的话题。学习一些简单的自己动手做的工具的英语名称和单词的拼写。一些工具是学生比较熟悉的,学生比较感兴趣。本单元围绕目前比较流行的自己动手做的话题,贴近生活实际,与学生的生活息息相关,容易引起学生的兴趣,有利于本单元的教学.

  1. 目标预设:

  完全掌握5种自己动手做的工具的读音和拼写,与同伴谈论自己动手做的一次经历,熟悉掌握相关英语用语.用适当的语音语调表演Eddie和Hobo的对话,语音语调合适。

  1. 教学重点:

 掌握DIY所用的工具的英文单词读音和拼写,会用英语会话自己的一次DIY经历。  灵活运用祈使句发出指令,提出要求。熟练运用祈使句谈论自己的DIY经历

  1. 设计理念:

以学生为主体,各种课堂活动围绕学生展开,把课堂真正还给学生,老师只是起一个指引的作用,遵循任务型教学为主要教学方式,把教学内容划分成一个个不同的小任务让学生自己去完成,以小组为合作单位,依靠团队的力量和智慧攻克一个个任务以达到教学的目的。

  1. 设计思路

通过与学生交流,“我”的手提电脑出了故障,影响了我的工作。没有了电脑,对我的工作造成了很大的困难。向学生求助,如何解决问题。学生一定会七嘴八舌地说找电脑专家帮忙。引导学生自己动手解决问题,做一些DIY的工作,既可以锻炼自己的能力又可以掌握知识,从而导入本课的话题。通过学习相关的工具和学生自己的DIY经历学习本课,与实际关系紧密容易引起学生的兴趣。Eddie 和Hobo的对话风趣幽默,激发学习的兴趣。

Help the students complete the exercise and check the answers. Every weekend in Britain, DIY shops and garden centres are always very busy. A large number of people spend their weekends doing improvements ( 改进) to their homes i___1_____ of relaxing!

DIY projects are very p____2_____ in Britain and there are lots of TV programmes which show people how they can improve their homes.

Some people prefer (更喜欢) simple d____3_____ — putting up wall-paper and painting walls, but there are a lot of different DIY projects that people decide to take on, from changing the new floor to setting a new shower.
